Leon

Leon is the warmest place in Nicaragua with an average temperatur of 38 degrees. 

I felt like a polar bear who had come to the wrong place on the planet.  I did my best to find shade and fan. 

Marina worked at my hostel. She told me Desember has cold nights so I gave her my wool hat.

I met Laura again and we went to the Museum of Revolution.

Marcello fought with the Sandinists during the revolution in 79. The Frente Sandinista de Liberacion  Front is now a democratic socialist party in Nicaragua.

Its members are called Sandinistas. The party is named after Augusto Cesar Sandino who led the Nicaraguan resistance against the United States occupation of Nicaragua in the 1930. 

In the years before the revolution of 79, Somoza used this building to interrogate political prisoners.
