Peru is a Republic of South-America bordering Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Bolivia. Peru has a rich cultural history. The kingdom of the Inkas had its core area in today's Peru. There are 31 million people living here.

In Cuzco I got a job at the reception of a tiny hostel called Feel At Home. It is located in the city center right next to the Cathedral. Carlos is the owner, here together with his son Carlos jr.
Kevin and I worked part-time at the front desk.
Cuzco is located in the Andes mountains. The town is about 3400 above sea level. There are 300,000 inhabitants in town.
Cuzco was the capital and the cultural and religious center of the Inkas.

In the kathedral I saw The Last Supper. This time with a guinea pig on the plate instead of a lamb.
At the San Pedro marked you can find allmost anything, also guinea pigs if you fancy that.
Peru has more than 5000 different kinds of potatoes. I bought different potatoes every time I visited the marked.

Saksaywaman is a ceremony fortress from the Incas at a height two kilometers north of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca. The walk took me about 30 minutes up the steep tiny roads.
I saw the alpaca as the most interesting and I think it was mutual.
