Meeting Rossana in Montevideo.

One weekend I took the bus to Montevideo and rented a room in the center of the old town.
Half the population of Uruguay is living in this city but it felt not bigger than my own town in Norway.

Indigenous people in Uruguay were largely extinct due to European colonization, and there are virtually no descendants left. Most of the Uruguayans are not very proud of their history. Today more than 40 % of the people have Italian roots and the rest have european.

Rossana who I met the first time in Peru lives in Montevideo together with her rescue dogs and a cat.
She showed me the seaside of town where she had her childhood.
It was nice and fun beeing together with her again.
😀😃😄
