Pablo and Sofia are two friends living in Montevideo. At my hostel in Cuzco, Peru I met Pablo the first time.
They picked me up in Minas and together we drove to the coast.
Our first stop was Casapueblo in Punta Ballena. This building is constructed by the Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro. He used 36 years to complete the construction.
Today it is turned into a museum and a hotel.
Punta del Este is a huge coastal city for rich people. In the summer there are a massiv invation of tourists here but at this time of the year it is abandoned.
In Piriapolis we stayed in a house belonging to Pablos firm.
At night we went out to a local fish resturant and a winebar.
We had a very exciting and enjoyable weekend together.
