Three hours busride and I was in Inca Pisac.
It is unknown when Inca Písac was built, but the people here used to berry their loved once in tiny holes in the hills after they were cremated. Since it does not appear to have been inhabited by any pre-Inca civilization, it was most likely built no earlier than 1440. Pizarro, the Spanish conqueror and his soldiers destroyed Inca Písac in the early 1530s.
I will try to do my best! 😄😄
In the small town of Chincheros I saw how they colored the alpaca wool using local herbs from the area.
Of course I bought some wool for
my journey.
One of the many mysteries of Ollantaytambo is how the massive rocks were hauled up the mountain without the use of wheels. It is also unknown how the stones were cut, because no metal hard enough to cut granite was available at that time.
Flotte bilder, god tur på reisen
